On the following Mobile Monday, on February 2nd we have planned one lecture:

18:00 – 19:00  – Hybrid Mobile Apps

In Grgur’s opinion Apps based on open web standards (for example HTML5) will overtake native till year 2016 in number of available ones in App Stores. Also, Grgur considers development to be faster, cheaper, and once done application is working equally on most platforms – from mobile (iOS, Android, BlackBerry…) to desktop (Windows, OS X, Linux). Which technologies, how hard is to learn and use them, and how fast you can make app ready for App Store – these are the questions which will be discussed on Mobile Monday.

Agenda:

  • Native vs Hybrid comparison
  • Tech/skills overview
  • Deployment options
  • Device/deployment agnostic ‘Hello world’ example
