For that matter, Profico decided to contribute by making a donation to “Debra”– charity that supports individuals and families affected by Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB).

What is EB? 

Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) is a group of genetic skin conditions which cause the skin to blister and tear at the slightest touch. Painful open wounds and sores form where this exceptionally fragile skin is damaged – in some cases, internal linings and organs are also affected.

“Butterfly Children” is a term often used to describe younger patients (because the skin is said to be fragile as a butterfly’s wings). Their only wish for Christmas is to find cure for EB.
